History

Located in the city of Huaraz, department of Ancash (Peru), it is an old hacienda transformed into a Hotel. Its land dates from 1887 and part of its old infrastructure was built in 1903, within its facilities operated the factory of carbonated water and syrups "El Fenix" (1909 - 1990), the factory of candies, chocolates and cookies (1928 - 1959 ) as well as the brewery "El Huascarán" (1932 - 1961) awarded in different contests and exhibitions with gold and silver medal for quality.

Built the hacienda on a solid structure of stone, which is preserved so far, resisted the ravages of nature: the alluvium of 1941 and the devastating earthquake of 1970, which did not cause any damage to property.

Among some anecdotes, it is said that not only has resisted nature and the passage of time, but also local councilors who have tried to divide it with the purpose of passing streets, without assessing its history and the conservation of nature that prevails and its interior.
